5 Tools to Figure Out What You Want


Throughout this series on self-love, we've laid down some building blocks:

  1. Stress is incompatible with love. If we want to be open to giving and receiving love, we need to disarm the stress response

  2. Discovering a very specific type of stress- Absence Stressors. When we identify the missing experiences we really needed to thrive, we can pursue those experiences to cultivate wholeness.

  3. STEW Method- We learned the STEW method as a practical tool to help us self-connect and become more aware of our needs


Building on these pieces, your body awareness can help you figure out what you want by revealing what choices and practices will lead you in the direction of satisfaction.


Those tools include:

  • Continuing to improve the mind-body connection

  • Using envy as a compass to reveal your desires

  • Intolerable feelings as a window into what truly matters

  • Noticing your relationship with blame and responsibility as a roadblock to desire

  • Resistance release work- dealing with internal conflict
