I define worthiness as the treatment you are available for.
When we step out in unworthiness, we are available for mistreatment, put downs, criticism, and being misunderstood. But when we step out in our worthiness, we are available for respect, consideration, collaboration, and all of the good things we desire out of relationship.
Today we are going to open with a powerful mind-body connection practice (first 15 minutes) filled with:
A body scan
Tense and release exercises
Acknowledging my needs affirmation
Visualization to receive support
For the teaching potion, I will review 7 types of human needs:
Survival needs- food, water, shelter, clothing, physical safety
Connection needs- the need to feel seen, understood, and felt
Joy needs- the need to feel delighted in, worthy, chosen, and special
Emotional Safety- To know where you stand with someone, have fair expectations, safe from sarcasm, passive aggression, criticism, etc
Nurture Needs- to play, access to comfort, affection, and know your emotions matter
Belonging Needs- Do I have a team? Do I have a seat at the table?
Autonomy Needs- To be affirmed, to have a voice, to be respected, to be taken seriously, etc.
