The last few weeks, we’ve been talking about the stress response and how stress makes it more difficult to think clearly and access pleasant emotional states like love, joy, desire, and creativity. This week I am teaching a tool to help you turn down the stress response and begin to repair mind body connection. I call it the STEW method. STEW stands for Sensations,Thoughts, Emotions, What do I need.
When practiced regularly, it will help you embody self-love as you learn to see, understand, and attune to your own needs more consistently.
Watch this video for an in-depth explanation of the stew method.
You can visit my post called "Basic Body Scan" for a guided mind-body connection practice.
Here is a cheat sheet of the STEW method you can print out and use at your convenience.
